1. The principle
In short Only the cookies the site needs to work: no tracking, so no banner.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. legup.run only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language, showing a confirmation message and protecting forms.
These cookies are exempt from consent under French law (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, CNIL guidelines). That is why the site shows no cookie banner.
2. The site's cookies
In short Four cookies, set by legup.run only.
legup.session: keeps you signed in. Only set when you sign in. Lasts until you close your browser, or 30 days renewed on each visit if you tick “Keep me signed in”.lang: remembers the language you chose (French or English). Lasts 1 year.legup.flash: shows the confirmation message after an action. Deleted when you close your browser.legup.csrf: protects forms against cross-site request forgery, an attack that would make your account act without you knowing, from another site. Deleted when you close your browser.
These cookies are set and read by legup.run only: no third party has access to them.
3. What we don't use
In short No analytics, no advertising, no embedded social networks.
- No audience measurement tool.
- No advertising or retargeting.
- No share buttons or embedded social media content.
- No fonts loaded from Google Fonts: they are served by the site itself.
If this ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting any cookie that requires it.
4. Sites we send you to
In short Stripe and Strava set their own cookies, under their own rules.
For some actions, you leave legup.run:
- Stripe, to pay for a campaign (brands) or open your payout account (runners);
- Strava, when you connect your account.
These sites set their own cookies, under their own policies, which we invite you to read. Leg Up has no access to them.
5. Deleting cookies
In short You can clear them whenever you like from your browser.
Your browser settings (privacy, cookies or site data section) let you see and delete legup.run's cookies.
- Deleting
legup.sessionsigns you out. - Deleting
langsends the site back to your browser's language on your next visit. - You can also block these cookies, but you will then no longer be able to sign in or submit forms.
